The International Scientific Committee


The International Scientific Committee (ISC) has an advisory function, providing opinions and assuring a scientific comparison at national and international levels for the activities foreseen by the Minamata Convention.


The ISC will be appointed by the Management Committee, following proposals advanced by the Head of the CNRM once the opinion of the Heads of Operating Units has been obtained. The ISC will be composed of experts of international reknown in the fields of scientific research and technological development, as well as representatives of International Institutions and Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations.
